Beth yw Cyngor Ysgol
Corff o ddisgyblion sydd wedi'u ethol i gyfleu a chynrychioli
anghenion ac amcanion bob digybl o fewn yr ysgol mewn trafodaethau
ffurfiol a'r staff dysgu a'r staff ategol.
Pwrpas y Cyngor
Prif bwrpas y Cyngor yw i fod yn lais cryf a phendant i'r disgyblion
er mwyn iddynt hwy gyfrannu mewn ffordd bositif ac effeithiol
at wella ethos, amcanion, safonau a
disgwyliadau'r ysgol. Mae'r Cyngor yn sicrhau strwythur a threfn
i farn ac anghenion yr ysgol gyfan gan gynnwys yr athrawon a'r
staff ategol.
Amcanion y Cyngor
Rhoi'r cyfle i ddisgyblion yr ysgol mynegi eu barn, gyda'r sicrwydd
eu body n cael eu clywed.
Rhannu syniadau gydag eraill mewn awyrgylch ffurfiol.
Cynnwys disgyblion yn rhai o benderfyniadau'r ysgol.
Cynnig y cyfle i ddisgyblion datblygu medrau allweddol ee.datrys
problemau ayyb.

What is a School Council
A body of elected pupils representing the needs and wishes of
every pupil within the school in formal meetings with the teaching
and auxiliary staff.
Purpose
The main purpose of the council is to be a strong and positive
voice for all the pupils and to contribute to improving the school's
ethos, objectives, standards and expectations. The council guarantees
structure and order for the opinions and needs of the whole school
including members of staff.
Aims
To give the pupils the chance to express their views and opinions
with the assurance of being listened to.
Exchange ideas with others.
Include pupils in some school decisions.
To give pupils the chance to develop key skills such as problem
solving and so on.
To respect pupils as partners.
To give pupils experiences of democracy.

Meetings
Meetings will be held once every half term and a pre-arranged
agenda will be followed. The agenda will be based on discussions
held beforehand in the Key Stages. Special meetings may be called
if necessary. Minutes of the meetings will be kept. The minutes
will be open to all who show an interest.
Finance
The Council does not receive funding from the school but it is
sponsored yearly by___________________________. The Council also
arranges fund raising activities.
